OAT #7
What can I say? The world is yours! All you ever desired is now yours because you believed in yourself and allowed your truth to wash away all but that which serves.

This is the 7th installment of an ongoing, weekly series we’re trying out here on the 1HP site called Oliver’s AfterThoughts. Each Friday morning I post a card from the Afterthoughts tarot deck by Corrine Kenner. These tarot pulls consist of a single card garnered by means of my attracting one infused with the energy of the Oliver collective, intended as its prediction of what to expect for the weekend / week ahead.

The Kenner Afterthoughts deck is based upon the concept of “what happened next?” in the scope of a classic tarot reading. In tarot, the cards in the spread show what is occurring. If you continue to pull cards thereafter you’ll unveil the history leading up to the shown events. But, then what? What can you, the conscious, 1HP creator expect moving forward? What is about to unfold? And, thus… After Tarot!

Let’s begin.

 The World

The last card of the Major Arcana! Woo Hoo! You have climbed the momentous mountains, swam oceans of choppy waters, scoured the clear and clouded skies in search of the blue that shimmers through the black, and you have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is yours, now To share. To squander. To save. Your abundance gained on the back of experience. Welcome the gifts given to yourself, and revel in the knowing that if you did it once, you can do it again and again. For infinity. You believe. You reap.

Card Description (quoted from book):
A cosmic dancer, the World depicts the never-ending, spiral dance of life. It is a card of completion and success — as well as an invitation to start another round.

A young woman dances i the center of a giant laurel wreath, suspended in a clear sky. She’s nude, except for a long, flowing scarf that drapes over her shoulders and wraps around her hips. her wavy blonde hair is pulled back from her face and she has a serene, far-away expression. White clouds swirl around her, along with emblems of larger-than-life wind, and a shining silver sword.

Key Symbols:

  • Full circle of series is now complete; with no beginning and no end
  • The figure eight symbol appears in the flow of the wreath’s ribbon
  • Scarf also resembles the lemniscate – the figure eight of infinity
  • The dancer’s nudity signals she has shed her inhibitions
  • The dancer holds a wand in each hand, like her counterpart, the Magician, the 1st card of the Arcana
YOU are the cosmic dancer swaying to the beat of your new-found frequency. Beat on!
