Today was incredible. I had breakfast with an old friend. We ate at Concannon’s Bakery on Walnut. St. I had a caramel long john (my dad’s favorite) and a medium cup of black coffee. After about 90 minutes of good, old fashion reminiscing, we said our final good-byes – each of us silently aware this may very well be the last time we break bread in the physical in this lifetime.

Next up, a get together with two high school friends, Rhea and Phyllis. These two cool chicks picked me up from the Courtyard Marriott hotel where I stayed in room 6133 – a corner suite named after a former Munsonian Mayor. We took to the bricks and snapped off a few selfies and artistic pictures, followed by lunch at… wait for it… Concannon’s Bakery. This one was on Baker Lane. I had a homemade chicken soup and diet Dr. Pepper. No water available. Oh well. Concannon’s also offered each of us a free slice of their famous cheesecake. The three of us shared one, thrilled at the gift. Next up, Jacob’s Orchard in New Castle, Indiana where you can buy every sort of food or liquid stuff imaginable made from apples.

One of my companions got a call from a friend of her son’s about an hour into our visit to say her son and grandson had been in a car accident and were on the way to the hospital. No further details where shared.

We were off. Raced back to Muncie and Ball Memorial Hospital (my birth place). The emergency room was a caldron of burning energy scalding my sensory field with its presence. To subvert its grip, I kept one point of attention here with my friends, and another on a white sandy beach with the bluest of blue water employed to block the negative with a positive. The boys were stable with reparable injuries, tho the accident was severe; their vehicle T-boned right in the driver’s door – 6 inches deep. The young boy had a deep seat belt bruise, and his father, a couple of cracked ribs and a liver contusion.

While Rhea and I waited for our next ride to show up, Phyllis wrapped up details with the hospital’s admin staff so her boys could come home. Here’s the thing… the accident has a twist.

Phyllis and her son just swapped cars about a week ago. Phyllis has a (to be completed once folks wake up in the morning.) vehicle, and her son has a (ditto). The three of us girls were traveling in the former son’s vehicle all day and I was becaming quite familiar with it. And that’s the thing; Phyllis’ car, now traded to her son, offered much more protection in size and design than his to her. Had they not swapped, this accident may have been a disaster with possible casualties. Just a week ago! And, here I was witnessing Source’s plan roll into action right in front of my face. It was fascinating.

Moving on, Rhea and I said our good-byes to Phyllis and turned our attention to Carol. Carol kindly carted us all to dinner at Savage’s Ale House, downtown Muncie, where a deep fried, breaded tenderloin was on the menu for all of us. We ate. We talked. We laughed. Such fun. Then off to Carol’s house in Winchester, IN. A sprawling country home on acres of land with an expansive pond with live fish and croaking toads, lots of landscaping equipment, a number of vehicles – including two classic cars; a 1973, Black Orchid (colored), MGB and a silver, 2006 Solstice, as well as 100 giant windmills shooting up into the skies of their neighbor’s adjoining property. On the broadwalk styled back deck, complete with built in benches and a hot tub, we sat, chatting some more and simply enjoying one another’s company.

The day was filled with synchronicities and moments of creation; some of which were blatant to all. The story above; one that may center around the saving of a life, was one of many had today, including now… Ever since I sat down a couple of hours ago to begin pulling and prepping the art work this fly has been “walking” all over my computer, my screen, and my hands. It won’t fly off. Curious I Googled, “fly totem” and found this message…

… followed by this:

Know that quick and abrupt changes in your thoughts, emotions and endeavors are afoot. Rapid changes in all aspects of your life are currently happening for you so be prepared to move quickly even in unfavorable and uncomfortable conditions. Fly can also signify an exponentially growing source of abundance is available for you right now. Use your keen eyesight to see the way. Never give up.

After the experiential changes felt all day yesterday, some of which shared in Friday’s post, Eye to Eye, followed today with gratitude for the grace gifted, what I know with clarity and precision is that I have taken a spiritual quantum leap closer to Hiraeth, and I’m good!
